Quilt-N-Stuff Closes!
After 20+ years, Madeline Shepperson-owner has decided that she needs a life. The shop will close on Saturday, January 14th. You will still see Madeline at quilt shows around the country. I will miss that little shop where I learned much and honed my teaching skills.

Learn how to take everyday items that you have laying around the house and use them in your fiber art. Washers, bottle caps and other wacky found items will be discussed and incorporated into your art.
Machine Quilting: One or Two Day Hands-on Workshop
Learn machine quilting techniques using the walking foot, as well as exploring stippling and machine drawing. Many samples will be completed in class.
Stippling & Nothing But Stippling: One or Two Day Hands-on Workshop
Spend an afternoon (or two) learning nothing but stippling--you know that stitch that looks like little puzzle pieces. Learn the latest tips and find out about tools to help you master this technique. Many samples will be completed in class. Become one with your sewing machine!! Oooommmm.
More Machine Quilting: One or Two Day Hands-on Workshop
Move beyond the walking foot and stippling. Learn more free form techniques--spirals, Greek keys, loops, flowers and more. Couching with yarn and other decorative threads will be a part of the fun!
Photo Finish Quilt: One Day Workshop
Learn how to transfer photos to fabric and then how to incorporate them into wall hangings, pillows, etc. Learn about the best and worst of the photo transfer products on the market. Samples will be made.

HGTV & Me
Mark and I went to Burbank, CA to tape two episodes for "Simply Quilts". Alex Anderson was great and so were the producers and crew. The first one, "Fabulous Fortune Cookie" initally aired on Monday, April 11th. It was weird watching myself on television, but it seemed to go well. The second one, "Funky Little House" aired on Monday, May 9th. They both just recently aired AGAIN during the first week of January, 2006. I'm not sure when they will air again--check the program schedule on HGTV and DIY.
